Ryuke stood by the small cafe. Ordering himself a cup if decaf, he sat down at his seat and began to flip gingerly through his poetry book again.

He sat there, occasionally glancing at the crowd.

Crystal walked through the crowd, Sumiyaka perched on one of her shoulders. The scarf tied around her eyes fluttered in a slight breeze that blew through the street, kicing up a small amount of dust. Her robes were loose enough so she could reach the hidden weapons with ease, but tight enough to not cause suspision.

She was young, alone and curious. All the ninja wanted was someone to talk to.

Ryuke turned his head and looked at her tentatively.

Hello

he said with a sight smile.

Would you care to join me par chance?

Her body language was thoughtful as she stopped to "look" at the other person, Sumiyaka's eyes scanning over his body for her. He gave a small trill to shift his position and a small smile flickered across Crystal's mouth as she dipped her head in a polite nod before making her way over in a way that seemed she wasn't blind, settling herself down comfortably in the chair opposite to Ryukes. Her hunting falcon settled on the chair's back, curling his claws around its frame.

A hand pointed towards the cup in front of Ryuke as Crystal spoke in a polite tone, conversing with the other person as if she knew him from before.

Enjoying your decaf? I prefer tea myself. Coffee's much too bitter for my tastes.

Ryuke smiled to himself.

You play it very well you know, and i admire your sense of smell, but no need to give it off, it's not as mucha disability as a gift to your other sense.

He drank at the decaf gently, looking at her.

And i have no real manner of taste to as what i drink, i tempt myself with anything that suits my interest.

Crystal huffed gently to herself, shifting her position on the chair. She got slightly annoyed whenever someone figured out she was blind, since she did her best to hide it. Her tone was still polite as she replied, Sumiyaka giving a trill.

I don't find it a disability, thank you very much. It has allowed my other senses to sharpen, so it is not like I have it at all now.

She tilted her head to one side in a curious gesture.

To you not like things with taste?

Ryuke smiled.

I apologize, i in no way meant it to be rude or in any way something to get on your nerves. I'm known to be a very perceptive person. I noticed it quite easily, though i give you credit, most wouldn't have the faintest idea.

He finished the last of his coffee, and ordered some red wine.

And no i hold no real appreciation for taste, though i find my fill to whatever i drink, though i rather enjoy Red Wine the most.

She turned her head to one side as if annoyed, but actually Crystal was intruiged. He was very good as analyzing people. It did get sort of annoying when people were shocked by her blindness. The ninja ordered some tea and when it came, picked it up to sip at it gently, giving the biscuit it had come with to Sumiyaka, who munched on it happily.

I'll give you that good sir. But still enjoy tea. With some sugar. No spirits or anything of that sort for me.

Ah, well I see you are rather a well self-cared for then.

He smiled.

She's interesting, on top of that she's not a shinobi, missing nin probably, never the less i like her, she's enjoyable.

Crystal laughed softly at that, placing a hand underneath her chin.

You could say that. If I tried anything of the matter, Sumiyaka would not be pleased.

She nodded. He seemed polite enough...for the moment. Someone she could easily get along with.

What a curious person...if he's even one. I can't hear any breaths though. Strange.

The ninja replied softly, taking another sip of her tea.

Crystal. Nice to meet you, Ryuke.

He placed his hands in hers, and kissed it gently, before returning it to her.

It's quite a pleasure to meet you Crystal. What brings you to Konoha? It would be my pleasure to help you should you need it.

Ryuke smiled to himself.

So her senses are heightened, well that could cause a problem, but never the less, i have nothing against her. She's rather sweet.

Ew, GROSS! H-He kissed my hand...that's so...EW!

Her cheeks stained a darker colour as Crystal picked up her tea again, taking another sip.

Nothing brings me anywhere. I just go with Sumiyaka where the wind takes us.

Sumiyaka flapped his wings slightly, trilling as if he agreed. Which he did, but to Crystal, it meant not to give anything away. She just smiled and sipped on her tea more, enjoying the flavour.

Ryuke smiled.

I apologize if that bothered you, simply my manner, ill attempt not to touch you if it causes you discomfort.

His wine arrived and he began to drink at it slowly.

I assure you it's my manner as a gentleman, not perversion.

Placing his drink down he continued.

So you simply drift through the wind as all missing nin do?

E-Er...w-well no...I'm not used to such...interaction.

A hand went up to the scarf, unconciously tightening it around her eyes as a precaution. Sumiyaka chirped, his head cocking to one side as he shifted once again on his perch.

Perversion wouldn't get very far, I assure you.

Her head tilted to one side curiously, the cup pausing halfway to her lips.

Missing...Ninja? I don't think I understand, Ryuke.

Ryuke nodded, his expression as neutral and calm as ever.

I am certain. Though i have no interest in such things. Nor in the interest of how you were injured and lead into the loss of your sense.

He sipped quietly at his wine quietly for a few more minutes, before continuing.

You're not a regulated ninja. You carry no headband, yet you are armed, and i can tell from your position and muscle tensing that your trained to fight, which either makes you a non-regulated ninja, aka a missing nin, a run away, or a murderer.

He looked at her calmly, clearly un-bothered by the whole conversation.

He's one of the first who isn't interested. Well that's good. There's no reason to get upset in front of him and start crying.

Sumiyaka let out a warning trill, settling himself onto Yuki's shoulder again as she seemed to look at Ryuke.

Well you are very perceptive aren't you? I did run from my village, but no one remembers me. That was a very long time ago.

Don't mistake calm for un-interest. It's not i my manner to react. I also have no interest i hurting you, nor delving deeper into it should you not wish me too.

He drank once more, finishing the cup, and ordering another.

He smiled calmly at her.

Contrary to what you think, most ANBU aren't cold hearted ninja trained to kill.

She shrugged.

I'm not really in tune with status.

Samiyaka just shifted again, his eyes curious.

His wine arrived and he accepted it gladly, taking another sip.

So you simply drift about searching for something to do? Or do you have goals? A need to act on something perhaps, or a need for knowledge, understanding, or ... kinship.. hm...

He sat calmly and sipped at his wine once more.

I travel and wander because I like it. It's nice to have comrades though. And besides, wouldn't you like someone to help you out if it was needed?

Her tone was quiet as Sumiyaka nibbled quietly on Crystal's upraised hand, keeping his sharp beak light as to not draw blood.

Ryuke pondered it for a moment.

It varies. I'd rather be by myself, though i never need help, i handle myself more then able.

He look at the Bird.

And who is this?

He smiled slightly.

A small smile flickered at the edges of Crystal's mouth as she replied, still letting Sumiyaka nibble at her hand.

Too bad. I'd help you out in battle, if you wanted me to. I like to help people out, even if not needed. It's...sort of what I'm born to do.

She shrugged her shoulders, making Sumiyaka squak in slight surprise as he was jostled.

This is my familiar, Sumiyaka. He's a hunting falcon.

Ryuke was thoroughly undisturbed by the knife.

Ah i see. Interesting animal,

he drew his finger close, trying to touch it's feathers.

And i assure you im quite alright, though i have no problems with your company in the least.

Sumiyaka flapped his wings again as Crystal straightened, keeping him away from Ryuke

He's.....less trusting than I am. Please don't touch him though.

Her smile was pleased as Crystal drained the rest of her tea.

I think you're the first person who's said that to me. Thank you, Ryuke.

Ryuke smiled.

I see, so he is. Well let's hope i earn his trust.

His gaze turned to her.
