Ramen Shop

She sniffed the air gently to turn in the direction.

Flavoured noodles? Or just plain? Ooo, ooo! I-Is there fish ramen?

Her stomach gave a loud growl after her excited speal, causing a red tinge to taint her cheeks gently.

Bao chuckled lightly, Any flavor you want. he replied and then held her hand as he stood next to her, Cmon. He added and began walking

The young ninja turned a deeper crimson but began walking along beside Oki, grumbling with Sumiyaka perched on her shoulder, toying with her hair.

I told you I didn't need any assistance...

Bao looked over to Crystal and chucked a bit, So does that mean I cant hold your hand? He asked, but had a more gentaler grip onto her hand as they walked.

Well...I'm unused to contact from other people, so it might take me a while to get used to it. It's...why I fainted with the hug. A bit of an unexpected rush.

Crystal turned to face Oki, the ends of her scarf fluttering behind her in a gentle breeze that swirled around the pair.

Bao frowned alittle, but still had that warming smile in there. He took a deep breath, and then exhaled. He bent down, and picked a sunflower, as the stood up straight again. He looked back at Crystal and into her eyes, he put the sunflower in her hair, and chuckled lightly, Im sure you will get used to it if you hang around me for some time.

Her hands reached up to finger the petals of the flower gently, a small smile crossing her features. She liked flowers alot and though she couldn't see them, the scent and touch made her recognize it almost instantly.

I intend on doing that then. Do you have a familiar like me, Oki-san?

( Umm...he can't see her eyes. ^^;;;; )

Bao grinned and then held her hand again, and then replied, No, I dont have an animal familiar. But I do love animals as well.

What kind of animals do you like, Oki-san? Big powerful ones? Cute fluffy ones?

There was a slightly teasing tone to her voice as Sumiyaka clacked his beak together softly, starting to preen his feathers while balancing on Crystal's shoulder with ease.

Bao laughed a bit and said, Oh, the big powerful ones. , he then began to swing his hand as he holds hers, laughing a bit more.

The big, powerful ones? Well that's interesting. I would've taken you for one that likes bunnies.

She smiled again, chucking a tiny bit to herself.

Oh really?, He asked and stuck his tongue out and winked at her, And why would you think that?

Because anything can be taken for granted. It's what's inside that counts, right Sumiyaka?

He screeched softly, shifting on her shoulder while Crystal poked Oki-san on the nose gently.

Yep, yep. It'll come back to bite you someday. As well, looks can be decieving.

Bao then smiled and bit Crystal's finger gently, Like that? he asked and chuckled, with the tip of her finger between his teeth.

Well I suppose. Are you a dangerous man, Oki-san? To some people, maybe, but to me you seem harmless.

Her tone was careless as Crystal removed her finger from Bao's mouth to wipe it on her robes, turning her head away from him to sniff the air happily, enjoying the scent of cooking ramen.

As I said before though, looks can be decieving.

Bao chuckled a bit and said, Most people think im some mad crazy monster, but once you get to know me well enough, and show me respect, Ill show respect to you back, and become friends.

He then sniffed the air also, smelling the ramen, as he took Crystals hand again gently, his fingers through hers, smiling brightly.

Respect is key. And if you don't mind...I'm quite hungry, so let's go eat before one of us falls over from hunger.

She grinned, squeezing Bao's hand gently while Sumiyaka huffed, crooning gently as she stroked the side of his neck.

Bao chuckled and said, Make that two.. He then began walking, leading Crystal into the ramen shop, and pulled out a chair for her to sit in like a proper gentleman.

Crystal sat in the chair ladylike, saying nothing for she was embarassed that someone ould show so much kindness towards her. She clasped her hands in front of her while Sumiyaka took his place on the back of the chair, ruffling his feathers lightly.

Bao smiled and pushed in her chair gently, as he then sat down next to her and put his hand in the air. Ill take the beef ramen, and as for the lady---. He stopped and looked at Crystal, What do you want to order?

Her reply was almost automatic, as if she had been preparing it for a while. Sumiyaka just warbled what was his laugh before going back to preening his feathers.

Fish, if it's possible. Please and thank you.

Bao smiled and put his hands on the counter, as he put a hand on Crystal's lightly. He looked at her with a warming smile and comforting eyes, his voice was calm and relaxing from then on as they sat at the Ramen Shoppe.

A crimson tinge permenantly stained Crystal's cheeks as she kept her hand that was with Oki-san's still, listening to his voice and imagining the look in his eyes as he spoke towards her, answering any questions that he had. The young ninja was catious about any questions about the scarf around her eyes, slowly changing the subject to something different, which was usually something about his life.

Sumiyaka just kept watch over the pair, noting with a small gleam in his eyes the way that Crystal's thumb slowly made circles over Oki-san's knuckles, clacking his beak together gently so that her other hand started to gently stroke the side of his neck feathers, causing him to croon and relax, his hostility fading.

Bao, ofcourse, replied to her question about his life. He smiles as he felt her thumb making circles over his knuckles. As he started out, his life seemed to be Okay for the average ninja. He talked about where he came from, which was obvously Konoha.

He then looked over and put his eyes on her scarf, then asking, Why do you wear a scarf over your eyes?

Her reply was almost bored, but the slightest of tensing in the hand holding onto Bao's indicated that she was hiding something.

I like to...it makes my other senses stronger than usual. It's good, in a way.
