Biography:
Miss Ino Yamanaka is apart of the incredible force known as team 10. Her partners/teammates include Shikamaru Nara and Chouji Akimichi. All three chuunin were developed by their team leader Asuma Sarutobi.

At a young age Ino was trained to be a kunoichi, who would go undercover to gather valuable information. This training would change Ino's life forever, because she met Sakura. To Ino, Sakura was a fragile young girl, who was always being taunted on by other girls. One day, Ino took charge, defending Sakura and scaring away the bullies. As the two friends grew older, their affections and bonds grew stronger....until they both found themselves in love with the same boy, Sasuke.

During the Chuunin exams, Ino leads her team in defending the lone Sakura against the sound clan; Dosu, Zaku, and Kin. When the wheel of fate finally hit hard, it paired Ino against her biggest rival and friend...Sakura. During their battle, Ino has flashbacks of where the two all started. This clearly shows how much Ino loves Sakura and will always have high respect for her. During their match, the two fought with everything they had. To show high respect and dedication, Sakura and Ino both put their head bands on their foreheads. While the match progressed, it seemed like neither was going to fall. Ino cuts off her hair, screaming at Sakura that she doesn't care about her appearance (when clearly this was apart of her strategy...) and she threw it over the arena floor. Those strands of hair end up binding Sakura, ensuring Ino's speciality, Shintenshin, would hit Sakura. When Ino finally made it into Sakura's mind, she was hit hard in the face with the "inner Sakura." As the battle drew to an end, it ended in a double KO.

When Ino made her grand entry in the second part of the Naruto Series, she had changed her "image" by sexing it up a bit. Ino had been trained in medical skills.

To her surprise, she learned of her leader, Asuma, fatal wounds. His last words to her were basically to never give up and not to lose to Sakura.

Ino's greatest emotional tie to a person is Sakura. The two will always be bitter about each other, but deep down inside, Ino loves and cares for her best friend.
